John A. Wright

John A. Wright, age 81, of Fairview Pa, passed away on Wednesday, October 8th, at UPMC Hamot following a lengthy illness.

He was born on May 5, 1944, in Tazewell, VA, a son of the late John and Lena (Neal) Wright.

John was a proud Veteran and served in the United States Army. John was a HVAC Contractor, Owner of Wright Heating & Cooling.

In addition to his parents, He was preceded in death by his son, John M. Wright, in 1978; his five sisters, Betty Wright, Pamela Wright, Joan Dean , Evelyn Oliver and Sue Vogt; his three brothers, his twin, Pastor James of Aberdeen MD, Clyde Wright of Stanley VA, and Ronnie Wright of Tazewell, VA. Survivors include his wife of 58 years Helen Varhola; his son, James Wright, of Fairview; his daughter, Ellen Wright-Ednie and husband, David of Erie; his sister, Charlotte Whitesell and her husband Eric, of Tazewell, VA; his granddaughter, Meghan Muye-Gonzalez, husband Brendon, of Pittsburgh Pa; and Michael, Gretchen and Shane Ednie, of Erie PA.

Private arrangements have been entrusted to Burton Quinn-Scott Cremation and Funeral Services, West Ridge. Inurnment will take place in Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.
