Joan D. Hull

Joan D. (Haines) Hull, 89, of Erie, passed away Friday, June 13th, 2025.

She was born in Pittsburgh, PA on May 26, 1936, a daughter of the late Daniel and Margaret (Deustch) Haines.

Joan graduated from McDowell High School and was employed in the Plastics Manufacturing Industry. She enjoyed playing games and watching the wildlife.

In addition to her parents, Joan was predeceased by her husband Gilbert “Gil” Hull, whom she married in 1954; as well as her sister, Naomi Banko.

Joan is survived by her children, Teresa (Randy) Detzel, of Meadville, Karen (Mark) Hill, of Myrtle Beach, and Jeffrey (Brenda) Hull, of Erie. She is further survived by 9 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren; a sister Damaris Haines, a brother Michael (Jill) Haines and their families.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service at Burton Quinn-Scott Cremation and Funeral Services, Inc, West Ridge, 3801 W. 26th St., Erie, on Tuesday, June 17th at 1 PM.
