Jessie Nell Miller

Jessie Nell Nicholson Miller passed away on Friday, July 3rd, 2026, at Greenfield Nursing Home, Erie, PA.

She was born in Quitman, MS, on October 31, 1941, a daughter of the late Curt and Tommie Nicholson.

She was united in marriage to Levon Miller, Sr. She had 8 children – Danny L. Nicholson, Sr., Deborah Pearson, Felecia Miller, Yolanda Miller, Tabatha Miller, Temeko Miller, Levon Miller Jr., and Yunteek Miller. She worked at Van De Kamp's fish company until her retirement, and was an usher at Community Missionary Baptist Church for many years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Levon Miller, Sr.; daughters, Deborah Pearson, Felecia Miller, and Tabatha Miller; granddaughters, Shavonna, Aalinah, and DaRaysha. She had eight sisters and one brother.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her children, Danny and his wife, Ruth Nicholson, Yolanda Miller, Temeko Miller, Levon Miller, Jr., Yunteek Miller; 21 grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and god-daughter, Ranmona Henderson. She is further survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and many special friends.

Friends and family are invited to call on Saturday, July 11th, from 10 AM until the time of funeral service at 12 PM at Community Missionary Baptist Church, 1001 German St., Erie, PA, 16503. Burial will follow in Erie Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Burton Quinn-Scott Cremation and Funeral Services, Inc., 602 W. 10th St., Erie.
