Jennifer Bluey

Jennifer Lyn Bluey age 50, of Millcreek, passed away on Tuesday April 12, 2022 at UPMC Hamot.

She was born in Erie on January 7, 1972 a daughter of Michael B. Bluey and Barbara Farver Bluey Fetzner.

Jennifer graduated from Fairview High School in 1990 and went on to attend JH Thompson Beauty Academy. She went on to be the proud business owner and operator of The Ultimate Therapy Beauty Salon for over 30 years.

Jennifer was very creative and hardworking. She took pride in all that she did from her business to her yard. She was very family oriented and her son Kaden was her world. She attended all of his sporting events at Mercyhurst and was also an avid Steelers fan. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed entertaining. She would plan and host all of her family events. Jennifer was a great listener and enjoyed giving “therapy” to the customers in her salon.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Michael and Catherine Bluey and Nason and Betty Farver and step-father, John Fetzner.

Jennifer is survived by her mother Barbara Farver Bluey Fetzner, father, Michael B. Bluey (Jill Kennedy), son, Kaden M. Bluey; three siblings, Michael N. Bluey (Stacey), Gretchen Bluey (fiancé Kelly McCammon) and Aaron Bluey (Erin); two nieces, Chloe Spencer and Finley Bluey and her best friend, Karin Sirianni (Chris)and several aunts, uncles and cousins, and innumerable loyal and wonderful friends.

Friends may call at the Burton Quinn Scott Cremation and Funeral Services 3801 W. 26^th Street on Monday, April 18, 2022 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and are invited to a prayer service there on Tuesday at 9:20 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Peace Church 2401 W. 38^th Street, Erie, Pa 16506 at 10:00 a.m. Internment will take place at a later date in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
