Janet Wilson

Janet Wilson, age 84, passed away quietly on Friday, December 1, 2023, at St. Vincent Hospital.

 She was born on December 11, 1938, in Erie, a daughter of the late Joseph and Edith Mork.

After graduation from Academy High School, Janet married her lifelong love, Ronald, and together they raised a family. Janet enjoyed bowling and belonged to leagues at the Siebenbuerger Club and Greengarden Lanes. She was an avid dog lover.

In addition to her parents, Janet was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Ronald Wilson in 2017. She is survived by a son, Royce A. Wilson (Michelle), of Erie and a daughter, Karen Johnson (Ralph), of Union City.  She also leaves three grandchildren, Pam Loiacona, of Columbus, OH; Amanda Easley, of Meadville, PA and Carly Lydic (Ed), of Albany, NY and four great grandchildren.

Private services were held by the family at Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Services Inc. Downtown, 602 W 10^th Street with burial in Laurel Hill Cemetery.
