Jacqueline S. Nervo

Jacqueline S. Nervo, age 66 of Lake City, passed away unexpectedly, surrounded by her family on March 2, 2026, at UPMC Hamot following a very brief illness.

She was born in Montpelier, OH on January 28, 1960, a daughter of the late Howard M. and Bettie Horton Meyer.

Jackie was a graduate of Firestone High School in Akron, OH in the class of 1978. She graduated from St. Thomas School of Nursing in 1982 and had furthered her education over the years through Great Lakes Institute and Fortis.

She enjoyed cooking, gardening, her pond, and taking care of people. She loved reading the Bible and she was a wonderful wife, mother and Mimi. Her family meant the world to her. She will be sadly missed by all that knew her.

She is survived by her husband of 44 years Paul; her children: Victoria Lynn Kanavy and her husband Michael, Paul Nervo Jr. and Niccole Lane Bihler and her husband Michael; a grandson Gunner J. Bihler; her 2 pets, Bella and Frankie. She is further survived by her sister, Pam Meyer, as well as 2 other sisters, 1 brother and several nieces and nephews.

Services were held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements were entrusted to the Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main Street, East, Girard.
