Jackie T. Ball, age 72, of Erie, died Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at St. Vincent Health Center.
He was born in Hewlett, West Va., August 26, 1941, a son of the late Seymour and Emmer Elkins Ball.
Jackie graduated from Scott High School, served in the U.S. Army, and then worked as a machinist and welder with Pyramid Plastics, Penn Brass and Copper and other manufacturers in Erie.
He enjoyed arts and crafts along with Fishing and golfing.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Evelyn Kocher Ball, three children, David Ball of Erie, Martin Ball of Florida and Harold Ball also of Florida. Two grandchildren, Roxie and Cody Ball of Florida also remain along with many nieces, nephews and friends.
Friends may call at Burton Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 602 West 10th Street on Sunday from 2:00 pm till 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm till 9:00 pm and may attend a service there on Monday at 11:00 am.
Burial in Erie Cemetery.
