Jack R. Brown

Jack R. Brown age 75, of Erie passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at his residence.

He was born in Erie on February 19, 1949, a son of the late Audley and Emma Thornhill Brown.

Jack was a graduate of Academy High School and went on to serve in the United States Army during two tours of duty in the Vietnam War.

He worked locally as a machinist and had worked for the Railroad. Jack was a proud Veteran, loved the outdoors, fishing and shooting pool.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Paula Denning Brown; a brother, Donald “Bud” Brown, and sisters, Claudia Brown Meyke, and Marilyn Root.

He is survived by his brother David Brown and his wife Pat of Fairview; a sister Darcy Brown of Arizona; and his care giver Patricia Anderson of Erie, and several nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are entrusted to Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Services Inc., Downtown, 602 West 10^th St., Erie. Burial will be in Arlington National Cemetery.
