Isaac David Jolls

Isaac David Jolls, beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away of natural causes at his home on May 8, 2026. Isaac was born on May 7, 1977, the son of Eileen and Robert Jolls. He was a proud graduate of Cathedral Prep and worked as a landscaper for many years.

He loved Calvin and Hobbes, Star Wars, the Rat Pack, the Grateful Dead, the Godfather movies, and the Non Sequitur comic. He was extremely well-read and enjoyed history and trivia books, and the works of J.R.R. Tolkien. Isaac loved a good time and never missed an opportunity to do something he enjoyed, such as gardening, building with Lego, or having a long talk with a friend.

Proud of his Irish heritage, he had the gift of charm (blarney!) and never met a stranger. What he loved most was being with his family and friends and being the “Fun Uncle” to his six nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father and is survived by his mother, his sister Jessica, her husband, Joseph, his nieces and nephews, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Isaac felt the most at peace at Presque Isle State Park. Please take a walk or bike ride there, enjoying nature as Isaac did. A memorial service will be planned at a later date.

Donations can be made to the Presque Isle Partnership in Isaac’s memory. “We’ll always be with you. No one’s ever really gone.” (The Last Jedi)
