Harrison B. McCool, age 75, of Erie, died Tuesday, September 16, 2014 following a long illness.
He was born in Warren, PA on December 9, 1938, a son of George and Jessie Blitz McCool.
Harrison graduated from North East High School. He worked as a long-time welder for many years. Harrison loved to bowl, enjoyed boating, fishing, and golf.
In addition to his parents, Harrison was preceded in death by his step-brother, Dale McCool and daughter-in-law, Shawn McCool.
Harrison is survived by his wife, Marilyn Bryant McCool; son, Clinton McCool; daughter, Berlinda (Allan) Clark; step-son, Stephen (Melanie) Peck; step-daughter, Kimberly (Mike) Pelletier. Harrison is further survived by twelve grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
Arrangements are entrusted to Burton Funeral Home, 602 West 10th Street, Erie, PA 16502.
