Gregory Shawn Reynolds, age 61, of Fairview, passed away unexpectedly on April 23, 2026, at his home in Florence, AZ. Greg was born in Erie on February 22, 1965, to the late Janet “Elwinger” Reynolds and Richard Reynolds.

He graduated from Strong Vincent High School and Erie Business Center. As a kid, he dreamed of working for Fed Ex. Upon graduation, he made that dream a reality. He started with Fed Ex as a courier and moved his way up to management, overseeing the Erie, Franklin and Meadville markets. He retired from Fed Ex after 35 years in 2021.

Greg will be remembered for his strong faith in God, his love for the church, and the many Christian friendships he cherished throughout his life. His mornings often began with coffee and Bible reading, which reflected the steady faith that guided him every day. He truly had a heart for the Lord. Over the past few years he was diligently seeking God‘s word daily, trying to learn more and more about our dear Lord and Savior and cherished and held many of those scriptures in his heart and shared them with others. He openly shared his home with his wife, Lisa to host many Bible studies, Christmas parties, and summer get togethers which always left everyone with wonderful and fond memories that will be cherished forever.

He enjoyed many simple but meaningful things in life: watching sunsets, Friday night movie nights, playing cards and board games with family, attending Christian concerts, listening to MercyMe, and cheering on his favorite hockey, NFL, and baseball teams. He was an avid Rocky fan, loved his new found sport since living in AZ: pickleball, working out at the gym, and keeping landscaping pristine. Greg also never passed up a good hamburger.

While caring for his in-laws’ graves, he found that others came to him for help at their gravesites due to his meticulous attention detail. So he started Gravesite Landscaping, annually taking care of many gravesites throughout Erie for almost 30 years. More than anything, Greg loved helping others and was always willing to lend a hand whenever someone needed him. His kindness, faith, and dedication to family will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him. Greg was a gentle and kind man who never had a harsh word to say about anyone. His kind and caring spirit will live on in his family and in all who were fortunate enough to know him forever in our hearts.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his in-laws Marie and Edmund Schroeck; Brothers- in-law: Edward Hudson and William Turner; and a nephew: Eric Schroeck.

Greg is lovingly survived by his wife of 34 years, Lisa (Schroeck) Reynolds, two children: Greg Reynolds (Brittany) and Anna Reynolds; three grandchildren- Carson Reynolds, Carina and Chad Hatfield, who brought him tremendous joy; brother Richard Reynolds (Karen), sister Judith Turner, brothers-in-law: Dennis (Diane), Tim, Mark, and Patrick (Barbara) Shroeck, and sisters-in-law: Sue Hudson and PattiAnne Schroeck. Many, many nieces and nephews also survive.
