Gerald J. Patrone age 80, passed away on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at Elmwood Gardens.
He was born in Erie on October 27, 1945, a son of the late Mearl Newburger and Mary Patrone.
Gerald was a 1965 graduate of Tech Memorial High School and attended evening classes at Penn State Behrend.
He worked as a Chief Stationary Engineer for many years at International Paper and Mohawk Paper in Cincinnati, OH.
Gerald was a licensed Real Estate Agent and proprietor of two Arco stations in Erie.
He loved fishing and boating and entered many local fishing tournaments. He also loved Sports Cars.
He is survived by his sister, Ann Marie Magenau (John) and two nephews, John Magenau IV. (Heather) and Andrew “JD” Magenau (Christine Shroder). He is also survived by three nephews and a niece.
Friends are invited to a memorial service on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the Burton Quinn Scott Cremation and Funeral Services, Inc., West Ridge 3801 W. 26th Street.
