Gayle (Patasky) Curcio

Gayle (Patasky) Curcio, age 74, of Erie, passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2026, at her home. She was born on November 3, 1951, in Erie, the daughter of the late William and Martha (Laskoff) Patasky.

A lifelong resident of Erie, Gayle earned a Bachelor’s degree from Mercyhurst College. For many years, she managed the gift shop at the Barber National Institute, where she displayed her care and creativity by creating beautiful floral arrangements that brought joy to others.

In addition to her parents, Gayle was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony (Chris) Curcio, and their beloved daughter, Noelle Gerard Curcio. Her unwavering love and devotion to her daughter during her battle with Niemann-Pick disease type C showcased Gayle's strength and compassion. Her courage in facing life's hardships and her dedication to her loved ones will always be remembered. Gayle was truly a beautiful soul, both inside and out. Her love for conversation and her radiant smile brightened every room she entered. Her family and friends will deeply miss her laughter and steadfast devotion to those she loved.

She is survived by her extended family and many dear friends.

Friends are invited to attend a graveside committal service on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at 11:00 AM in Section 6 of Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
