Fred J. Ferraro

Fred J. Ferraro Jr., 69, of Erie, passed away on October 2, 2025.

He was born in Erie on August 24, 1956, son of the late Fred J. Ferraro Sr. and Carol Stein Ferraro.

Fred was a graduate of Academy High School and worked at Zurns Industries as a cast metal operator, where he retired. He enjoyed the company of his many friends, was a NASCAR fan, and a supporter of the Chicago Bears. He enjoyed sitting on the porch and relaxing.

Fred was a proud member of the Sunflower Club, where he served on the board and could always be found in his chair surrounded by friends. He will be remembered for his kindness, caring nature, and the way he made others feel welcome.

He is survived by his three daughters: Ashley Lossie (Ian) with their children Bruin and Barrett, Madison Ferraro, Sydney Ferraro and her son Grayson; his sister Carole Anne Ferraro and her boyfriend, Jeff; brother-in-law Dave Grochulski; his brother Tony Ferraro and his wife Lora; his sister Carrie Ferraro Voorhis; and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his sister Colleen Ferraro Sack and niece Jennifer Laser-Ferraro.

Fred’s memory will live on in the hearts of his family, his friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Friends may call at Burton Quinn Scott Cremation and Funeral Services At West Ridge 3801 West 26th St. on Tuesday, October 7th from 4:00 until 6:00 PM. Burial will be private in Whispering Pines Cremation Garden at the convenience of the family.
