Frank Karmazin

Frank R. Karmazin, age 72, of Erie, died Thursday, August 15, 2013 at Edinboro Manor.

He was born in Erie, August 17, 1940, a son of the late John and Louise Theodorsky Karmazin.

Frank attended East High School and was employed at Plastek as a truck driver and also in maintenance.

He loved his family; his wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He loved to watch sports on television as well as John Wayne movies.

Frank is survived by his wife, Elfreda Nelson Karmazin; four children, Debbie Ploss, John (Joyce) Karmazin, Tammy (Tyrone) Ormsbee, and Michael (Wanita) Burlingham; two sisters, Theresa (Raymond) Delinski, Delores Kowalewski; and a brother, Joseph (Judy) Karmazin. Eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren as well as nieces and nephews also survive.

Friends may call at Burton Wintergreen Funeral Home, 2532 Norcross Road, Saturday from 10:00 am until the time of the memorial service there at 12:00 pm. Rev. Michael DeMartinis will officiate.

Burial will be in Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.
