Frank Delio Jr.

Frank Delio, Jr., age 95, of Erie, passed away on Friday, June 27, 2025, at the Erie VA Medical Center after an extended illness.

He was born in Erie on February 21, 1930, a son of the late Frank and Mary Rocco Delio.

Frank served in the U.S. Army and worked as a hospital equipment designer for Steris Corporation for 25 years. He enjoyed hunting, golfing and wine making.

In addition to his parents, Frank is preceded in death by his wife, Shirle Delio and his siblings: Michael, John, Angelo, James Delio, Carmella Sklandanowski and Elizabeth Hosu.

He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Kathleen Young Delio; his children: Dorene Phillips and husband Jack of WI and Gary Delio and wife Lynn, of Erie and stepchildren, George Swanson III of OH and Stacey Kessler (Rey) of KY. He’s further survived by 4 grandchildren.

Friends may call at Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Services Inc. West Ridge, 3801 West 26th Street on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. until the time of his service at 6:00 p.m. Private burial will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery.
