Francisco Rodriguez-Maldonado

Francisco Rodriguez-Maldonado Jr., age 40, passed away, April 18, 2024 at UPMC Hamot. He was born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico to Francisco Rodriguez and Amides Maldonado. 

Francisco had an immense passion for music. He loved to play instruments, sing and listen to music, especially at church. As a child growing up Francisco enjoyed baseball and basketball in which he was very good at. His favorite basketball player was James Harden “La barba negra” from the Huston Rockets and the undertaker from WWE. Francisco will be remembered for his great sense of humor, unique laugh, beautiful smile and caring heart.

He is survived by his wife, Maria Ivette Delgado; a biological daughter; stepchildren, Lizofermarie and Ed Delgado; sister, Joanne Rodriguez; sisters-in-law, Mirta, Juana and Rosa Cruz; nieces and nephews, Omar, Damian and Denis Rivera; and other loving family members and friends. 

Francisco was preceded in death by his mother Amides Maldonado, grandparents, and his uncles.

Private services were held. Arrangements entrusted to Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Services Inc. Downtown, 602 W 10th St.
