Faye T. Descamps

Our beloved Faye T. (Langdon) Descamps, 83, passed away peacefully at home in Erie, PA, on June 22, 2025. Born on October 11, 1941, in Erie, Faye lived a full and vibrant life, bringing joy to all who knew her.

Faye was preceded in death by her parents, Ebenezer and Madeline (Mohney) Langdon, who passed in 2002. She is survived by her sister, Fern (Langdon) Lajambe. Faye was a devoted and loving "bonus" mother to her children, Kirk (Peggy), Richard (Georgia), and Michael (Sondra) Descamps, and daughter, Diana “Lynn” (Tom) Russell. Her greatest joy came from her nieces and nephews, Kimberly (Miller) Porter, John Miller, William “Stanley” Miller, and Rose (Miller) Farley. She was also a proud grandmother to 17 grandchildren, including their spouses, 20 great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great-grandchildren.

Faye had a lifelong love for animals, and in her later years, she was especially fond of her pets—Goldie and Logan (her dogs) and Impy (her cat). Her infectious laughter, love for hockey, and the time she spent with family and friends are what we will remember most. She touched many lives with her kindness and will be deeply missed by all.

The family wishes to extend heartfelt gratitude to Glen and Kurt Pfeffer, as well as the Koket Family, for their unwavering support of Faye, especially during her final years when her immediate family was not local.
