Eleanor Chessario

Eleanor Rose Chessario age 98, of Erie, passed away on Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at UPMC Hamot.

She was born in Erie on June 4, 1924 a daughter of the late Walter and Mary Winkler.

She was a proud Catholic having attended Sacred Heart and St. Jude parishes.

Eleanor was a gracious, loving and kind person. She loved spending time with her family and had a special bond with her grandchildren. In her later years, she enjoyed spending time with her sisters. Eleanor enjoyed trips to the family camp and driving around the peninsula. 

She leaves to cherish her memory, two loving sons, Michael Chessario and his wife Mae and James Chessario and his wife Lauri and their family dog Tucker; a granddaughter, Alissa (Matt); and many nieces and nephews.  

Eleanor will share eternal glory with her parents; her husband, Michael Chessario; a daughter, Beverly Ann Chessario; a son, Samuel Chessario; grandson, Joshua Chessario; five sisters and four brothers and her beloved dog Ellie.

Services were held private at the convenience of the family by the Burton Quinn Scott Cremation and Funeral Services, West Ridge, 3801 W. 26^th Street, Erie, PA 16506.
