Elaine Floy Lamb Roach

Elaine Floy Lamb Roach age 96, of Erie, passed away on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at her residence peacefully surrounded by her family. 

She was born in Erie on March 5, 1927 a daughter of the late Frank and Margaret Lamb. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Donald E. Roach, Sr.; her sons, Donald E. Roach, Jr. and Allan M. Roach; brothers, Frank, Billy, Richard and Ralph Lamb; sisters, Nora, Dorothy Margaret and Gerry who was like a sister to her. 

Elaine is survived by her three daughters, Deborah “Debby” Yacobozzi of Hermitage, PA, Rebecca “Becky” Miller (Doug) of Erie and Carolyn “Carrie” Wilson (Scott) of Lake City, PA. She is further survived by 15 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 8 great, great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. 

Elaine worked at Erie Dry Goods Co. and the Boston Store. 

She graduated from Academy High School in 1945.

 Elaine enjoyed bowling, playing pokeno with her friends and she loved to crochet. She’s made many Afghans for her family. Elaine was an awesome cook and baker and she loved spending time with her family and her pets!

Friends may call at the Burton Quinn Scott Cremation and Funeral Services, West Ridge on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m.
