Edward Bauer

Edward Bauer, age 80 of Fairview, PA, passed away on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at his home.

He was born in Allentown, PA on July 5, 1946, the son of the late Edward and Cecilia Bauer.

Edward graduated from Parkland High School in 1964 and went on to earn a degree from Penn State University. He worked as a heavy equipment operator and was a well-loved school bus driver for the Fairview School District. He enjoyed golf, bowling and traveling.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Logan Bauer.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Karen Bauer; his children, LeAnne Nipps, Robert Blaesing-Bauer and his wife Rebecca, and Christopher Bauer; five grandchildren, Josh Hawley and his wife Charissa, Lauren Robertson, Emily Marsh and her husband Sam, Noah Hawley and his wife Amber, and Gabriella Bauer; twelve great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main Street E Girard, PA on Friday September 25, 2026, from 4:00pm until 7:00pm.
