Ed Moffat

Edmund “Ed” Moffat, 84, of Erie, passed away Saturday, December 14, 2024.

He was born December 13, 1940 in Cambridge Springs, PA, a son to the late Clarence and Josephine (McCray) Moffat.

Ed’s happy place was being outside at the pond, camping, riding his Harley, and gardening!!! He also loved music, taking long drives, and gathering with friends and family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his former wife, Juvia Moffat; as well as his niece and nephew, Kim and Fuzzo.

Ed is survived by his children, Holly Moffat (Ron), Scott Moffat (Mary Beth), Missy Moffat Wells (Andrew), and AJ Zelina (Betsy); his companion of over 40 years, Denise Zelina, all of Erie; brother, Pete Moffat, of Cambridge Springs; sister, Diane Schmidt, of Pittsburgh; he is further survived by many, many grandchildren, a great-grandchild, nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to call on Thursday, December 19th at Burton Quinn-Scott Funeral Home, West Ridge, 3801 W. 26th St., Erie from 4 until 8 pm. And are invited to attend a memorial service there on Friday at 11 AM.
