Earl W. Wingard

Earl Wingard, age 80, of Girard, PA, passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2024. 

He was born in Somerset, PA on November 29, 1943, a son of the late Lewis and Myrtle Wingard.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and spending time with his family.  He was a member of the Erie Silent Club.  He graduated from Western Pennsylvania School for the Deaf in Pittsburgh, PA in 1962.  He worked at Town Square in Lake City, PA for many years.  

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters; Ella Henry and Dora Vanderbilt; and his longtime partner, Paula Yakoweloff.

Earl is survived by a sister, Mae Krieger; his two sons, Rodney Wingard and his children, Cameron, Ashley, and Paige; and Jimmy (Brenda) Wingard and their children, Dana, Katie, and Megan; one daughter, Debbie (Bill) Sandell and their children, Kindall and Peyton; two stepsons, Rick Yakoweloff and his children, Alec and Mikey; and Johnny Yakoweloff and his son, Connor, and many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
