Donald G. Tallman

Donald G. Tallman, aged 85, of Cranesville, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully at his home on April 7, 2026 after a lengthy illness.

He was born on July 12, 1940, in Platea, PA, to the late Earl and Agnes (Hershelman) Tallman.

Donald graduated from Albion High School. A proud member of VFW Post 470 and Engine 39, he was affectionately known as "Lucky Don" among his friends. Donald enjoyed cheering for his favorite NASCAR drivers, watching hockey games and attending auctions and gun raffles.

Each year, Donald eagerly awaited the Albion Fair, attending each and every day.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Barbara (Iskula) Tallman and brother, Ken Tallman.

He is survived by his daughter, Tina Oless and her husband, George of Erie; his son, Donald J. Tallman and his wife, Misty of Springboro; grandchildren, Joshua (Holley), Dakota (Rebecca), Colton (Camryn), Zachary (Kenia) and Desalena (Matt) and great granddaughter, Brynley. He is further survived by his loving cat, Penny Lou and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Private funeral arrangements entrusted to Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main St. East, in Girard.

Burial in Platea Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
