Dona Newcomer

     Dona M. Pietrasiewicz Newcomer, 69, of Erie, died Sat., Dec. 15, 2012, at Meadville Medical Center.  She was born Nov. 30, 1943 in Erie, daughter of the late Walter L. and Evelyn Westman Pietrasiewicz I.  She graduated from Academy High School in 1962 and worked for Spectrum Control for 21 years.  She had also worked as a waitress for various restaurants throughout the Erie area.  She enjoyed camping and boating.
     Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Paul Newcomer, Sr.; three sons, Paul D. Newcomer, Jr. and wife Maria of Philadelphia, PA, and Michael J. Newcomer and wife Louisa and Darren D. Newcomer all of Erie; two sisters, Shirley Bork and husband Fred of Las Cruces, NM and Nancy Lobaugh of Erie; two brothers, Donald Pietrasiewicz and wife Penny of CA and Walter Pietrasiewicz II of Erie; two grandchildren; a great-granddaughter, Hayley Star; and several nieces and nephews. 
     Friends may attend a Funeral Service Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Scott Funeral Home, 2104 Myrtle St., with the Rev. Richard A. Moyer officiating.  Private burial will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to the family in care of the Scott Funeral Home, 2104 Myrtle St., Erie, PA  16502.
