Diane Yeager, 75, of Erie, passed away on Friday, March 20th, 2026, at St. Vincent Hospital.

She was born on November 24, 1950, in Erie, a daughter of the late William M. and Helen C. (Schmitt) Gerlach.

Diane graduated from St. Benedict Academy. She went on to achieve her bachelor’s degree from Edinboro University. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, quilting, camping, and nature walks. Diane and her husband, Dick traveled by camper to 17 national parks and enjoyed every adventure together. She greatly cherished her dog, Noodle. She was a longtime member and giver to Linus Project of Erie, creating blankets for those in need, as well as the Erie Children ‘s Museum and Erie Art House.

Diane is survived by her husband, Richard “Dick” Yeager; stepdaughter, Amy Tevis (Jeff), of Erie; stepson, Rick Yeager (Kandi), of Tennessee; three grandchildren, Griffin Tevis, Payton Tevis, and Shelby Yeager; two great grandchildren, Benny Tevis and Sammy Tevis; and a sister, Judy Gerlach. She is further survived by several nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to call at Burton Quinn-Scott Cremation and Funeral Services, West Ridge, 3801 W. 26th St., Erie, on Saturday, March 28th from 2 PM until 5 PM.
