Delores Ann Peterson-Brown

Delores Ann Peterson-Brown, age 82, of Erie, PA, passed away on June 21, 2025 surrounded by family. Born on November 21, 1942, in Bemis, Tennessee, she relocated to South Bend, Indiana at a young age. For the past 15 years, she resided in Erie, PA. She was preceded in death by her parents Willie T. Brown and Mary Alberta Brown.

Delores held the distinction of being the only child of her parents and the eldest grandchild and cousin on both sides of her family. She graduated from Central High and attended Ivy Technical School; all of South Bend, Indiana.

During her career she was in the Administrative Field and worked over 25 years at Memorial Hospital (South Bend, Indiana).

She praised and worshipped God the entirety of her life and was a faithful member of Greater Friendship Missionary Baptist Church (South Bend, Indiana) and joined under watch care at Shiloh Baptist Church (Erie, PA).

She is survived by her children: Kim Peterson, Nicole Paskell, Kirk Paskell, and Anthony Peterson II (Mandy). Delores is also survived by her twelve grandchildren Maurice, Shardae, Kamryn, Kasia, Ni’Kyah, Kerrington, Nyjah, Kyren, Brittney, Brandon, Braya, and Bryson and seven great-grandchildren Kaila, Charles, William IV, Rhylen, Brasais, Braxton, and Briar, all of whom she adored and hold a special place in her heart. As well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her children, Michael J. Johnson and Terrance L. Lewis.

Friends are respectfully invited to visit the family on Saturday June 28, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Service at 1:00 p.m. at Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Services Inc. Wintergreen, located at 2532 Norcross Road, Erie, PA.
