Deborah R. Grumbach

Deborah R. Grumbach, age 57, passed away unexpectedly at her residence after a short illness on October 23, 2026.

She was born on April 5, 1969, in Erie, PA, to Barbara Eriksen Grumbach and the late Friedrich Grumbach.

Deborah had the rare gift of lighting up every room she entered. Known for her generous nature, she was someone who always put the needs of others before her own.

Deborah's world was her family, in whom she took immense pride. She adored her grandson, whose birth brought a light into her world. She found peace in the great outdoors. Deborah loved spending quality time with dear friends, taking a camping trip, or enjoying a day at the beach.

She is preceded in death by her father, Friedrich Grumbach.

She leaves behind to cherish her in memory, her daughter, Lauren (Justin) Orem; her grandson, Friedrich Orem; her mother, Barbara Grumbach; her siblings, Fred Grumbach, Jr., Marc Grumbach, and Cynthia (James) Reynolds and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends are invited to call at Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main St. East, Girard, on Friday, October 30, 2026, from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. A private service will follow.

Deborah’s warmth and bright will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
