David Marsh, age 86, passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his family on October 30, 2025, after an extended illness.
He was born on April 6, 1939, in Butler County, Greenville, Alabama, to the late Henry and Carrie (Franklin) Marsh.
For over thirty years, David proudly served as a cameraman for WJET-TV. He enjoyed playing golf, fishing, socializing with friends and family and was a devoted Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He was a Grill Master, renowned for his signature sauce, which brought joy to countless gatherings. David was a member of Masons, Elks Club, American Legion and The Post.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife and mother to his children, Edna Rose Marsh; his second wife, Ora Lee Marsh; son, Kenneth David Marsh and his only sibling, Joshua Marsh (Millie).
David is survived by his loving children: daughters, Antoinette Marsh Embry (Michael), Shirley Marsh, Stacy Blanks, Saundra Elaine Marsh, Audra Blakely (Eric), of Maryland and Erica Rose Osman and son Denarse Marsh. He is further survived by 15 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, a host of great nieces and great nephews and stepdaughter Patricia Hall
Friends are invited to Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Services, Inc. Downtown, on Saturday, November 15, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 12:00 p.m. Burial in Laurel Hill Cemetery.
