David Hall, Sr.

David L. Hall, Sr., age 80, of Erie, passed away on Wednesday, April 6, 2022.

He was born in Erie on May 4, 1941, son of Culver and Ella Mae Carter Hall.

He is survived by his son David Hall, Jr. (Kathy), daughter, Melissa Hall-Corey, step-daughter, Theresa Borzilleri, his siblings, Bill Hall, Dolly Comstock, and Roy Hall, grandchildren, Tonie Hall, Nikki Chapple, Brandy Corey (Bill), Matthew Corey (Amanda), Alexis Roberts, Andrew Borzilleri, Berkley Roberts, and Jeffrey Borzilleri. He is also survived by 6 greatgrandchildren, a sister and brother-in-law Carol and Terry Penoyer as well as several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Ginny Hall, his second wife, Judy Hall, step-son, Jeffery Roberts, brothers and sisters Jack Hall, Tom Hall, Ella Mae Szumigala, and Nancy Humes.

Over his lifetime David was a dedicated husband to both of his wives and a loving father and father figure to many. He found joy in providing for and spending time with his family.

Friends are invited to call on the family on Sunday, April 10th from 1-3 pm and 5-7 pm at Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Services West Ridge, 3801 W. 26th St. and are invited to attend the service there on Monday, April 11th at 10:15 am.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, Shriner’s Hospital or to the family in care of the funeral home.
