Darlene Pier

Darlene R. Pier, age 63 of Wattsburg, PA, died Saturday, February 20, 2016 at Select Specialty Hospital.

She was born December 14, 1952 in Erie, PA, the daughter of the late Kenneth L. and Norma Humes Peters.

Darlene graduated from Harborcreek High School.

She had been an insurance agent, and worked for Phillips Wisineski Insurance, Carter Reagan Insurance, and Sam Black Insurance. Darlene had also worked for Rose Construction and Church and Murdock Electric.

She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.

Darlene loved spending time with her grandson. She was a member of Curves and TOPS, and enjoyed knitting and crafting.

Survivors include her husband of almost 40 years, Dale L. Pier, her brother, Kenneth Peters, Jr., daughter Kelly Pier Sanchez (Antony), son Dale L. Pier, Jr. (Lisa), and grandson Bradley Pier.

Friends may call at the Burton Wintergreen Funeral Home, 2532 Norcross Rd. on Monday from 2:00 pm till 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm till 8:00 pm and on Tuesday from 10:00 am till the time of the funeral service there on Tuesday at 11:00 am with Pastor John Love officiating. Burial in Lowville Cemetery.
