Daniel J. Quirk

January 16, 1954 — March 27, 2024

Daniel J. Quirk, age 70, of Erie, passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at his home. He was born in South Bend, Indiana on January 16, 1954, a son of the late Willard F. And Kathleen A. (Huntoon) Quirk.

Dan was a life-long truck driver and devoted husband.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 37 years, Kimberly (Nelson) Quirk, in July 2023.

Dan is survived by his son, Anthony Kafka (Olivia), and three grandchildren: Angelica, Samuel, and Willa; four brothers, Willard, Francis, Matthew, and John Quirk, and two sisters, Catherine Quirk and Anne Thomas (Bill), as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

There will be no formal memorial service. Family and friends are invited to an urn committal service at Columbarium 7 on Monday, April 15, 2024 at 11:00 am in Laurel Hill Cemetery, 4523 Love Rd., Erie, PA.

In remembrance of Dan’s love of dogs, memorials may be made to Puppy Mill Rescue Team, 6558 4th Section Rd. # 105, Brockport, NY 14420.
