Daniel R. Artz

Daniel R. Artz, age 60, of Erie, passed away on Tuesday, June 18, 2025, at his residence.

He was born in Erie on January 27, 1965, a son of the late Dale Sr. and Dorothy Hull Artz.

Daniel worked at Curtze Food Service for over 33 years.

He enjoyed riding his Harley, listening to music and especially enjoyed spending time with his family. Dan loved to tell jokes and had a contagious laugh that could get the whole room laughing.

He was a member of the Knights of St. George Club and the American Legion post #773.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Debbie Snowball, Denise Snyder and Josie Staley and a brother, Donny Artz.

He is survived by his wife, Theresea Cowfer Artz; two children, Dale Artz and Heather Bochert; his siblings, Dale T. Artz and his wife Selena, Joe Artz and his wife Ellen, Donna Artz and Doug Artz and his wife Tammy; three granddaughters, and many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank VNA Hospice for all of the care and support they received.
