Coston James Samilio, age 92, of Erie, passed away Tuesday, July 18th 2018. He was born in Conneaut Ohio on June 11th 1926 the son of the late Emilio and Rose Pizzi Samilio.
He served in the United States Navy from 1942 to 1946.
In addition to his parents, Coston is preceded in death by his siblings, Theresa, Margaret, Anthony, Delores, and Joseph.
Coston is survived by his wife, Elaine, daughters, Lynda, Cheryl, and Jamie (Sylvia). He is further survived by his grandchildren Shanon and Alec, great grandchildren Madalynn, Kyla, Ava, and Jackson.
Friends may call at the Burton Funeral Home and Crematory Inc. 602 W. 10th Street on Friday, July 20th 2018 from 2:00 to 5:00
Burial will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
The family respectfully declines flowers, and ask that memorials be made out to Great Lakes Hospice.
