Clifford Merle Knorr

Clifford “Cliff” Merle Knorr, age 72, of Girard, passed away on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at UPMC Hospice.

He was born May 5, 1953, in Erie, PA, the son of the late Leonard and Betty Jane Mose Knorr (Wadika).

Cliff graduated from Rice Ave Union High School in 1971. He worked in the auto parts industry throughout his life. Cliff moved to Florida in 1974 where he lived in Bradenton and Gainesville until relocating back to Girard in 2023. He was an avid sports fan, most notably for his beloved Florida Gators and the Raiders. He was also a music enthusiast with the Beatles, Tom Petty, and Jimmy Buffett leading the charge.

He is survived by his daughter, Bianca Whidden of Bradenton, FL; his son, Nathan Knorr and his wife Jean of Apollo Beach, FL. He is also survived by three grandchildren, Ava Whidden; Seth Knorr; and Annalise Knorr. He is also survived by his sister, Susan (Knorr) Warner of Girard, PA and several nieces and nephews.
