Clifford “Bill” Joslin, age 80 of Millcreek, died Thursday, July 4th, 2024 surrounded by close family at LECOM Health Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was born in Conneautville, Pennsylvania on May 7th, 1944, son of the late Peter Natcher and Virginia Thomas Joslin Natcher. He was a graduate of East High school in Erie, Pennsylvania, where he was a record-breaking student athlete in track and field.

He retired as Head Foreman of the Millcreek Township Streets Department, where he began working there at age 25. During and after raising his children, with his beloved wife Lana, he spent his personal and professional life in service to the Millcreek community; where he served for decades as a firefighter, chief, and honorary chief with the Westlake Volunteer Fire Department, proudly served in the U.S. Navy, was a CDL and Trench and Confined Space Rescue instructor, and in his retirement was a proud member of the American Red Cross and the American Legion. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, boating, fishing, and was an avid fan of Gannon’s Mens and Womens Basketball team. He was a proud father, grandfather and great grandfather, and loved his family dearly.

Clifford is survived by two daughters, Christine Joslin (Ken Hatfield), and Cynthia Fitzsimmons (Patrick); four grandchildren, Rebecca Rogers (Cal), Rachael Headrick, Chad Hatfield, and Matthew Hatfield; three great-grandchildren; Owen Rogers, Carina Hatfield, and Chad Hatfield Jr.; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, and his beloved dog and best buddy, Trooper.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Lana Joslin, sisters Shirley Amendola and Norma Nason, and brother Terry Joslin.

Services were private and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements were entrusted to the Burton Quinn-Scott Cremation & Funeral Services West Ridge, 3801 West 26th St. Erie, PA.

Memorials may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Hospital and Mental Health Association of Northwest Pennsylvania, 1101 Peach Street, Erie, PA 16501.

The family wishes to thank all the staff of LECOM Health Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and the VNA Hospice of Erie County, for their kindhearted affection and care.
