Christopher Kalish

Christopher Kalish, age 55, of Erie, passed away on Saturday March 26, 2022 at UPMC Hamot.

He was born in Erie on July 2, 1966, a son of the late Davis and Pauline (Zilch) Kalish.

Chris was a graduate of Erie Tech Memorial and a lifelong sports fan, dedicatedly following the Pittsburgh Steelers, Chicago White Sox, and Philadelphia Flyers. He enjoyed working for many years at Alfees, the pizza shop of one of his best childhood friends. Chris enjoyed weight lifting, listening to heavy metal music, and playing chess with friends. 

He is survived by his sister Martha Kalish (Tony Tarkowski), brothers, Paul Kalish and Andy Kalish (Laurie Mancuso); as well as nieces, and a nephew.

Family and friends are invited to call at Quinn Funeral Home, 728 W. 9^th St. on Saturday, April 2^, 2022 from 10 am until the time of Funeral Service at 12 Noon.  Inurnment to follow at Calvary Cemetery.
