Christopher Andrew Boyer

Christopher Andrew Boyer, a beloved brother and friend, passed away on June 11, 2026, in Erie, Pennsylvania, at the age of 65.

He was born on November 30, 1960 (The feast of St. Andrew), in Erie, to the late Raymond and Shirley (Loesch) Boyer. Christopher was an active churchgoer, first at St. Andrew and more recently at Mount Calvary Church.

He attended St. Andrew School and went on to graduate from Tech Memorial High School. He worked at Hammermill along with his father and brothers and retired from HERO BX.

Christopher was a long-time member of the Cascade Club and visited weekly to enjoy the company of friends there. He was a devoted fan of the Pittsburgh sports teams, especially the Pirates and Steelers, and an avid gym-goer.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Timothy and Brian Boyer.

Christopher is survived by his siblings, Terry (Rosa Marie) Boyer, Cynthia (Robert) Sonnenberg, Dennis Boyer and Scott Boyer; his sister-in-law, Rose Boyer and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Christopher was a gentle soul whose presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Arrangements are entrusted to the Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Services Inc. Downtown, 602 W 10th Street, Erie PA 16502.

A private gathering will be held by the family at a future date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Christopher's name to Benedictine Sisters of Erie.
