Charles Louis Martini

Charles “Charlie” Louis Martini died unexpectedly on Friday, September 19, 2025. He was born on July 8, 1950, to the late John and Rose (Licato) Martini.

Soon after graduation from Strong Vincent High School in 1968, he joined the Navy where he served as the mail clerk on the USS Saratoga. After returning from the service, he worked as an Independent Telephone Subcontractor in Erie (GTE), as well as other locations in Pennsylvania and Florida for various Telephone Installation Companies working on residential and commercial sites. After several years as an Independent Telephone Contractor, he started Martini Telephone Sales & Service in the Erie Area, which he owned and operated for over twenty years, specializing in Residential and Commercial Sales, Installation and Service. After he sold his business in 1999, he began working for a small local business company installing ceramic flooring for several years. Charlie enjoyed working in his large yard and adjacent creek which was always in immaculate condition and was his pride and joy.

Charlie is survived by his son, Chad (Monica) and his grandchildren, Zoe and Zachary from Fairview. He is also survived by his brother, Joe (Diane), of Fuquay Varina, NC, as well as several nephews, a niece, aunts and cousins.

Family and friends are welcome to Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Services Inc. Downtown, 602 West 10th Street on Saturday September 27, 2025, from 12:00 - 2:00 PM and 4:00 - 6:00 PM until Full Military Honors at 6:00 PM immediately followed by a funeral service.
