Charlene Williamson

Charlene Elizabeth Joint Williamson, age 62, of Erie went to be with the love of her life, “Stormin” Norman Williamson on Friday, September 2, 2022.  Char found true happiness when they met in 1996 and were married on June 19, 1998.

Born in Erie on Father’s Day, June 19^th, 1960 to James D. Joint and the late Marianne Marie Moore Joint.

Char graduated from Tech Memorial High School in 1978 where she earned an Associates  Degree in Dental Assisting.  She was a cheerleader and a member of the gymnastics team.  She worked for Dr. McGinley and the Booker T. Washington Center; as well as G.E. and several retirement homes in the area.  Char was also an excellent bartender, working for several establishments; and had worked at Maple Donuts in Girard.

She enjoyed golfing with her family and riding Harley’s with her husband “Stormin” Norman.

In addition to her mother, she is preceded in death by her husband Norman Willliamson and a brother, Joseph John Joint.

Char is survived by her father, James D. Joint, three brothers, James J. Joint (Michelle), Donald P. Joint (Brice) and John M. Joint (Kim); and two sisters, Cindy Joint and Marianne “Bunch” Cheesebrough (Greg).  She is further survived by several nieces and nephews.

No calling hours will be observed.  Burial will be private with family.
