Charlene Feiler

Charlene (Hickey) Feiler, age 74, of Erie, passed away August 31, 2022 at UPMC Hamot, following a long battle with ovarian cancer. 

She was born in Erie on June 22, 1948, a daughter of Walter & Virginia (Christensen) Hickey.  Char was a graduate of McDowell High School, class of 1966 and she worked for National Church Residences for 18 years as an apartment manager for Kearsarge Place, Apple Blossom Place and Eastlake Woods.  She was a lifetime member of Immanuel Lutheran, and also belonged to the Elks Lodge 67 and the VFW post 470.  Char loved all outdoor activities especially gardening, relaxing by her Koi pond and enjoying time at camp. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family.  

In addition to her parents, Char was preceded in death by her grandchildren; Faith Marie Feiler and Justin Thomas Lee. 

She is survived by her high school sweetheart Richard Feiler who were married for 55 years (in 2022) on September 2, 1967.  Char is survived by her children: Kimberly Ann Lee (Michael), of Erie, Tracy Suprynowicz (Jim) of Fredericksburg VA, Michael Feiler, of Erie, and her grandchildren; Alli and Sammi Lee, Emily, Hunter and Chase Suprynowicz and Summer and Travis Feiler, also her two brothers Tom and David Hickey.

Friends may call at Burton Quinn Scott Cremation and Funeral Services, West Ridge 3801 West 26^th St., on Saturday, September 3^rd, 2022 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00p.m.  and are invited to attend a service at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 1002 Powell Ave, Erie, PA 16505 on Sunday, September 4th, 2022 at 1:00 p.m.
