Chad Murphy

Chad Allen Murphy, age 37, of Erie, passed away on November 3, 2021.  He was born in Erie, PA on January 8, 1984, the son of Sherry (Jeff) Jageman and Thomas Murphy.

He graduated from McDowell High School and was a CNC Machinist.  He enjoyed computers and video games.  He was an avid reader and loved animals.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Wilford Joseph Cunningham, Charles Murphy, and Maria Weilacher; and his aunt and uncle Brenda and Steven Johnson.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his siblings: Scott Jageman, Alan (Megan) Jageman, Patrick (Jamie) Jageman, Ryan and Megan Murphy, Alexa and Jon Banta, and Alyssa and Dillon Babcock; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Services are private with burial at Laurel Hill Cemetery.
