Cathleen Ann Newberry

Cathleen Ann Newberry, age 72 of Albion, PA, passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2024 at St. Vincent Hospital.

She was born on February 26, 1951, the daughter of the late Donald and Jean Kuhn Hoyer.

Cathy graduated from East High School. She worked various jobs and for many years worked in housekeeping and laundry at Pleasant Ridge Manor.  She loved her family and friends and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sons, “Little Larry” Newberry and Richard “Little Dickie” Carbone; and her sister, Joyce Rucker.

She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Larry Newberry; her children, Angela Carbone, Donald Carbone (Cindy), Robin Bendure (Shawn), Brian Newberry (Ashley Schreiber) and Travis Newberry (Viktoriya Babkina) all of Erie; her sisters, Marlyn Turben of Florida and Dawnell Kinstler of Erie; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Services were held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements were entrusted to the Burton Funeral Home, Girard.
