Carolyn M. Rapp

Carolyn M. Rapp age 75, of palmetto Fl and formerly of Erie, passed away on July 7 2025.

She was born in Erie on October 29, 1949, a daughter of the late Wayne and Marjorie Billig.

She graduated from McDowell High School then went onto Cazenovia College to earn her teaching degree.

She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Elks Lodge #67 and the Zukor Club.

Carolyn loved being a homemaker to her husband and three children. She especially loved spending time with her family and grandchildren and keeping them up to date on the weather. She had a passion for gardening and reading. She also volunteered her time to the Palmetto Library.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert V. Rapp, his parents, Vincent and Mae Rapp and a brother Gary Billig.

She is survived by her three children, Christen Rapp (Bill Steinfurth), Amy Kossbiel(Brett Filipowski), Matthew Rapp (Kielly). Eight grandchildren, Rj, Cody Anderson, Lindsay (Nick McNally). Ashley (Josh Gable), Colten, Rachel, Nolan Kossbiel. Aubrey Rapp. A great-grandchild Jaxon Gable. A brother, David Billig (Kay). She is further survived by many family members.

Friends may call at the Burton Quinn Scott Cremation and Funeral Services, Inc., West Ridge, 3801 W. 26th Street on Sunday, July 13th from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Burial will be private in Laurel Hill Cemetery.
