Carolyn L. Lindstrom

Carolyn L. Lindstrom, age 88, passed away on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at LECOM at Village Square.

She was born on November 15, 1935, in Erie, Pennsylvania, to the late Walter and Mildred (Reisenauer) Lindstrom Calao.

After graduation from Strong Vincent High School, Carolyn worked as an administrative assistant and bookkeeper in a variety of fields including Penn Mutual Life Insurance, Veterans Administration in Washington, DC, and Erie Organ Supply Company, where she retired. She also worked several years for the State Department in Foreign Service sending her to Europe and South America.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her stepfather, Sam Calao and brother, Robert Lindstrom, and nephew Grant Taylor.

She leaves behind to cherish her in memory, her brother, David (Georgia)Calao; sister, Suzanne (Keith) Taylor and many nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are entrusted to the Burton Quinn-Scott Cremation & Funeral Services Inc. Downtown, 602 West 10th Street, Erie.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the staff at LECOM at Village Square, 149 West 22nd Street, Erie, PA 16502, who provided loving and compassionate care for Carolyn.
