Brian C. Holman, 57, of Erie, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, June 12, 2026, surrounded by his loving family, after a courageous battle with colon cancer.
Born on July 5, 1968, in Erie, he was the son of Arlene (Drozeski) Holman and the late Thomas G. Holman, Sr.
A lifelong resident of Erie, Brian dedicated his career to the machining industry. He worked as a machinist for many years before becoming a die setter with Thomas Erie Inc. Brian found great enjoyment in golfing, grilling, visiting the casino, visits to Presque Isle for breakfast or weekly sunset date nights with Patti and Daisy/Nami, and spending time with his family and many dear friends. He was especially proud of and devoted to his beloved wife and sons. Brian was always one to lend a helping hand to family, friends and neighbors, and his kindness and generosity will be remembered by all who knew him. Those who knew him well will remember his quick wit and sense of humor, always delivered with a beer in his hand and a smile on his face.
In addition to his mother, Brian is survived by his loving wife, Patti (Wiest) Holman; three sons, Tyler M. Holman and his partner, Erynne Schoeneweis, of Ambridge, Pennsylvania, and Eric M. Holman and Thomas P. Holman, both of Erie. He is also survived by two brothers, Thomas G. Holman, Jr. and his wife, Linda, and Greg Holman and his wife, Lisa, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to call at Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Services, Inc., Downtown, 602 W. 10th Street, on Thursday, June 18, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and are invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Friday at 11:00 am in Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will be private.
