Barry Boyer

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Barry Boyer, age 69. who died after a short illness on October 29, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on October 18, 1956, in Erie, Pennsylvania, to the late Marcus and Marie (Sliker) Boyer.

After attending Harborcreek High School, Barry trained at the former Erie County Skill Center. He loved his time spent hunting, fishing, and shooting. In his spare time, he enjoyed putting together model airplanes. Most of all, Barry enjoyed spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Deborah Boyer.

He leaves behind to cherish him in memory, his sons, Robert Boyer (Christina) and Christopher Boyer (Cassandra); grandchildren, Caleb (Mya), Cameron (Tyler), Aden, Robbie and Luke and great granddaughter, Addyson. He is further survived by a brother, Gilbert Boyer (Sherry) and two sisters, Pamela Crane (Bill) and Kimberly Boyer (Todd) along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends are invited to a 1:00 p.m. graveside service to honor Barry’s life at Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery (Section 2), 2601 Norcross Road, on Friday, November 7, 2025.
