Barbara Wall

Barbara Anne Wall, age 78 of Erie, passed away on Sunday January 27, 2013 at St. Vincent Health Center.

She was born in Wilkinsburg, Pennsylvania on May 22, 1934, a daughter of the late Harry and Annagrace Forsyth Martin.

Barbara graduated from Wilkinsburg High School, class of 1953 and Slippery Rock University with a degree in PhysEd. She taught PhysEd at Bessemer High School, Lawrence Park High School and Harborcreek High School, retiring in 1989.

Survivors include her loving husband of 55 years, Robert S. Wall, two sons: Jack Wall and wife Amelia and Steve Wall and wife Donna, all of Erie; a sister Nancy Kalkstein and her husband Robert of Pittsburgh; a brother David Martin of Pittsburgh; and four grandchildren: Emily, Katie, and Jessica Wall, and Josh Hill.
