Barbara L. Trojanovich

Barbara L. Struchen Trojanovich, age 84, of Millcreek, passed away on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at Pleasant Ridge Manor.

She was born in Erie on November 28, 1941, a daughter of the late George Struchen and Cecile (Rooney) Struchen.

Barbara was a Class of 1960 graduate of McDowell High School. She was a loving mother and homemaker, taking care of 67 children over her lifetime. She was a member of Weis Library United Methodist Church, where she operated Junior Church.

She enjoyed bowling and participated with her husband Peter in the Meadowlark and Generation Gap Bowling Leagues at Westway Lanes. She enjoyed ceramics and camping was a family tradition for many years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in by her husband, Peter P. Trojanovich in 2015, a son, Terry J. Trojanovich in 2021 and a daughter-in-law, Victoria Trace.

She is survived by five children, Tammie Caldwell (Tommy), Jessica A. Griffith, Eric Trace (Victoria), Tracy L. Thomas (James), and Troy Trace (Cindy); 17 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving is her sister, Charlene Eggleston of Erie and her companion, Charlie Fischer.

Friends may call at the Burton Quinn Scott Cremation and Funeral Services, Inc, West Ridge 3801 W. 26th Street on Wednesday, September 2nd from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 12:00p.m. Burial to follow in Weis Library Cemetery.
