Audree Janet Adams 90 of Erie passed away on Thursday, July 7, 2022, at Wesbury United Methodist Retirement Community.
She was born in Fairview on July 2, 1932, the only daughter to John C. and Alice S. Peterson Adams.
She was a 1952 graduate of Millcreek High School and worked as a plastic inspector at Perry Plastics until her retirement. She was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church.
Audree loved playing golf. She played in several leagues over the years at Overlake and Brabender Southwoods. Her best friend, Marge Carpen was her partner in crime when it involved playing golf for over 40 years. She was a true outdoorsman and loved snowmobiling, hiking, fishing, horseback riding, and hunting. Audree’s pride and joy were her wonderful vegetable and fruit gardens. She loved to share her harvest with her neighbors, family, and friends. She also was known for her yummy pizzelle cookies that she generously handed out to so many of us over the holidays. Audree was the number one fan of all her nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. A true sports fan, not missing a chance to watch them compete and spoil them with a candy bar.
In addition to her parents, Audree was preceded in death by her four brothers, John “Jack”, Richard “Dick”, Robert “Snood”, and Gerry Adams, and her only true love and fiancé Kenny Brozell.
Audree is survived by one brother, Thomas Adams, of Florida, two sisters-in-law, Margaret Adams, of McKean, Shirley Adams, of Fairview, and many many beloved nieces and nephews.
